After the incredible success of our first Kenya camp, we're taking things one step further. Instead of discovering just one destination, we'll explore two of Kenya's most beautiful kite spots: Galu Beach (Diani) and Watamu.
Between the two destinations, we will go for an unforgettable real African safari experience in Tsavo National Park.
This is not just a kite camp. It's a two-week adventure designed for women who love kitesurfing, travel, nature, and sharing unforgettable moments with like-minded women.

Two Kite Destinations. One Epic Journey. Kenya offers some of the best winter kitesurfing conditions in the world. During the Kaskazi season, warm trade winds blow consistently across the coast, creating ideal conditions for progression, freeriding, and simply enjoying long days on the water. This year, we'll experience two completely different sides of the Kenyan coastline.

Our adventure starts in Galu Beach, just south of Diani.We'll spend six days here living in our luxury beachfront villa directly in front of our kite spot. A week of kiting, coaching and enjoying.This is the kite holiday every kiter dreams of: a private spot just at the doorstep of our beach-front villa and an incredible women's kite gang to enjoy this luxury with.
Safari

From the coast to the African savannah. Our two-day safari takes us to the breathtaking Tsavo National Park, where we'll spend one unforgettable night surrounded by breathtaking nature and incredible wildlife.With a bit of luck, we will be seeing Africa's Big Five and countless other wild animals in a spectacular landscape.A true African safari experience and the perfect contrast to our days on the water. One of those unforgettable moments that will stay with you long after the trip is over.

From the savannah, we'll continue north to Watamu. One of the best kite spots in East Africa. Protected by reefs, surrounded by mangroves and turquoise water, this tropical paradise offers stunning scenery and unique riding conditions.The atmosphere is peaceful and stunningly beautiful. We'll be staying in a private villa close to the spot. Again, no transfer needed. Here we will spend the second week of our camp, progressing our riding, and exploring the kite spots in Watamu and the surrounding area.There is a lot to discover.

From mid-December to mid-March, the east coast of Africa turns into a kitesurfer’s playground. The steady Kaskazi winds blow 15–20 knots almost every single day, like clockwork. They usually kick in around 11 am, rev up between 1 pm and 5 pm, and then gently ease off toward sunset.
Your Home — BIG BLUE Kite Villas
Beach front Villa Galu Beach
For the first part of our adventure, we'll stay at a stunning beachfront villa in Galu Beach. Imagine waking up to the sound of the ocean, enjoying breakfast under palm trees, and walking straight onto one of Kenya's most beautiful kite spots. Spacious rooms, a private pool, tropical gardens, and plenty of space to relax after long kite sessions. No transfer needed. And our private chef is taking care of the culinary side of our stay.
Private Villa Watamu
After the safari, we will move to our second private villa of the trip. Located second row beachside we can easily walk to the beach for our kite sessions. Authentic 5-bedroom Villa in Watamu with pool and plenty of relaxing areas. The house team is taking care of us, preparing breakfast and dinner, and a buffet during the day to stay strong for our kite sessions.

Traveling with women
There is something truly special about traveling with a group of women you don’t know at first, brought together by a shared passion for such an exciting and empowering sport as kitesurfing, and then supporting one another throughout the entire journey.
Every moment on the water, watching, cheering, and encouraging each other, became a shared experience. The camp turned kitesurfing into more than just a sport. It became a space for solidarity, mutual support, and female empowerment, making me feel stronger, braver, and more inspired by this sport every single day.
There isn’t a single part of this kite camp that I wouldn’t recommend. I had so much fun and feel more empowered than ever.
Fantastic coaching for women
Birgit and Fede are hands down the best kite instructors I’ve ever met. Their attention to detail and their ability to break down complicated techniques into simple, practical steps made a huge difference in my learning process. Everything they explained was easy to understand and immediately applicable on the water.
I especially appreciated how specific and thoughtful they were when it came to adjustments for women, both in terms of equipment and riding technique. They truly know how to tailor the learning experience, and they shared every tip and every little secret needed to ride with confidence.

Cancellation Policy
- 60 days or more before the camp start date: Cancellation is free of charge.
-60 to 15 days before the camp start date: A cancellation fee of 50% of the booking price applies.
- 14 days or less before the camp start date or failure to start/finish the trip for any reasons: A cancellation fee of 100% of the booking price applies.
